Your Path to Ready to Supply

Ready to supply means your business is verified, your supply models match how you operate, your products and stock are usable, and at least one approved seller relationship has clear terms.

There are four phases to that starting line.

1. Set up and verify the business

Supplier onboarding connects a secure account to the business that will make and honour the supply commitments.

  1. Start registration when Supplier Portal makes it available.
  2. Review the current supplier terms shown by the portal and create the account.
  3. Confirm the account email when prompted.
  4. Complete the supplier profile and business details.
  5. Finish business verification and multi-factor authentication. Either can happen first; both are required for day-to-day portal access.

Until the marketplace team verifies the business, access remains limited.

Supplier terms stay in Supplier Portal

Supplier Portal is the only place that presents and records the terms you accept. Registration stays closed whenever the current approved terms are not available. This handbook explains the operating journey; it does not reproduce or replace the supplier contract.

If registration is closed, talk to the marketplace team and choose Business enquiry.

2. Choose how you supply

In Settings, confirm the supply models that match the business:

  • Wholesale — approved sellers buy in bulk under agreed credit and payment terms.
  • Dropship — approved sellers can list eligible stock and you fulfil the resulting customer orders.

Set a realistic default fulfilment lead time. It helps the marketplace and connected sellers plan around what the operation can consistently deliver.

You can use either model or both. A seller relationship still needs the applicable channel and commercial terms before trading begins.

3. Prepare the range and stock

  1. Add products in Catalog.
  2. Set available stock and reorder points in Inventory.
  3. Use Feeds for supported bulk catalogue and stock files when the range is large enough to need them.

Keep these foundations sound:

  • Product and stock-keeping unit (SKU) identifiers remain stable after sellers depend on them.
  • Available stock never falls below zero.
  • Product information, availability, and fulfilment expectations stay current.
  • Products already used by sellers are discontinued carefully rather than silently removed.

See Products and stock for the complete working guidance.

4. Approve the first trading relationship

In Sellers:

  1. Review the seller and the requested relationship.
  2. Choose wholesale, dropship, or both for that connection.
  3. Set the relevant discount, margin, credit limit, and payment days.
  4. Approve or reject the request.

After approval, you can update the wholesale credit limit directly and record the reason. Changes to other commercial terms need a fresh agreement or help from the marketplace team so neither business relies on conflicting terms.

You are Ready to supply when all four phases are complete and the first approved relationship can use an accurate, available range.

Run the first supply work

  • For dropship, open Orders, accept work you can cover, then ship with carrier and tracking details. Reject or cancel promptly when fulfilment cannot proceed.
  • For wholesale, confirm the purchase order after checking the relationship and credit position, then ship it. The connected seller records goods receipt.

The ongoing operating loop also uses Returns for returned goods, Settlements for payable records and wholesale remittance, and Documents for issued trade records.

Your accounting system remains the source of truth for tax filing and final invoices.

Use supported data exchange when it earns its keep

Use supported bulk files for large product and stock changes. Bring in your technical team only when the volume or business-system connection justifies it; the setup detail lives under Developers.

Automatic order collection by an unattended business system is not offered as a self-service feature. Use Supplier Portal for fulfilment and the supported data-exchange paths for the work they cover.

The Dashboard is the operational home after sign-in. Analytics and Scorecard pages are currently unavailable; use the Dashboard for current work and check what is available today before planning a process.
